Open to those who support the objectives of the Society but do not meet the criteria for Ordinary membership — including students and general enthusiasts.
Cannot vote or stand for election.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
Ordinary Member
MYR 10 / upon acceptance
Open to Malaysian citizens and non-citizens aged 18 and above with interest and commitment towards the Society's objectives.
Requires nomination by TWO existing Ordinary Members and introduction at a General Meeting.
Life Member
Lifetime fee
Members who pay a one-time lifetime membership fee receive full voting and election privileges in perpetuity.
BY COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT
Honorary Member
Academic figures, authors, artists, intellectuals, and family members of P. Ramlee who have made significant contributions to arts, culture, or the objectives of the Society. Appointed by the Committee and exempt from membership fees.
BY COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT
Advisory Member
Experts in film and media studies, musicology, archiving and research, or the film industry and performing arts. Appointed by the Committee to provide advice and guidance to the Society.

Connect with researchers across film studies, ethnomusicology, postcolonial theory, archival science, and cultural memory — all united by a shared object of study.
Research & Publications
Access working papers and the forthcoming annual journal. The Society publishes academic journals, books, papers, documentation, and translations concerning P. Ramlee studies.
Archival Access
Benefit from the Society's coordination network across Arkib Negara, NAS Singapore, the Asian Film Archive, RTM, and Filem Negara — supporting digitization and academic reference.
Youth & Education
